PLC module 2 delves more deeply into software development and application. Engineering personnel will have advanced training in PLC programming and diagnostic tools that will help in their daily work.
This course is designed to give Plant Operators and Technical Personnel an understanding of the functions of HMI-Human Machine Interfaces, DCS- Distributed Control Systems and SCADA- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems.
This program will transfer the skills necessary for Engineering personnel to develop and integrate HMI/DCS and SCADA applications with different brands of PLC.The participant will also learn how to maximise the use of visualization tools to improve plant efficiency , uptime and traceability.
This module will impart the skills necessary for Engineers and Maintenance personnel to configure, diagnose and Maintain networking systems using the Profibus protocol. This course also covers integration of Instruments, Actuators and Sensors in PLC Controlled systems.
This module will impart the skills necessary for Engineers and Maintenance personnel to configure, diagnose and Maintain networking systems running on Optical Fiber platforms. This course also covers integration of Instruments, Actuators and Sensors in PLC Controlled systems. System Redundancy will also be covered.
Modern Plant Control involves numerous Analog based Sensors and Actuating Devices, in this module the PLC user is trained on how to quickly and accurately configire and scale analog field devices for integration with PLC/HMI and SCADA Systems. This course also covers PID closed loop tuning using classical and Software based tools.This is useful for plant commissioning, diagnostics and maintenance.
We offer training in Configuration and deployment of Relay Protection of MV and HV systems from 11kV to 132kV. We train the Engineers on how to calculate setpoints and discrimination and apply them using Automated protection relays such as the Siemens Siprotec or ABB and similar hardware platforms. We also train on interconnection of relays to SCADA and Annunciation systems. We also analyze transformer protection and cable fault location.
Variable Frequency Drive Systems are now ubiquitous on the factory floor. This course aims to train operators and technical personnel on the ins and outs of configuring VFD/VSD systems and integrating with PLC and HMI systems. Also included in this course is Soft Start,Servo and Stepper control and the use of Encoders..
